SUGGESTION ON POSSIBLE STIMULUS PACKAGE
If WE get another stimulus package, I want a mandate that NO insurance, utility, cable or other business can raise their rates during this time AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that one of the reasons the last one did not work as well as it could have was because, at least for us (retired and unable to work), everyone raised their rates on us and in the end we were actually $200 short on our budget.

I WOULD LOVE TO GO SPEND SOME MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't want the vultures sweeping in to take it all which is what they did. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

5. what they should do
is have the government set up an arrangement with businesses and have them send Americans gift cards for $100, $500, ect. to specific stores like Home Depot or Macys or Target, and basically force people to shop, instead of handing them a check that they're going to use to either pay off bills or put in the bank.

Right before Christmas would be a good time to get those gift cards out.

6. I thought of that but how do you pick which businesses benefit?
Maybe if they were in the form of a gift card, like you say, that is generic. One that can be used anywhere except for gas or maybe even food. Seems harsh to decide between food or an item of clothing if one has little food but.....
