It seems to me there is a little war going on in the republican party and Sarah/her champions has her surrogates pushing on MSNBC and CNN to defend her and her opponent is on Fox and Newsweek tearing her down. I don't believe the Democrats have a horse in this race, as they won the election and are busy with matters of true import. As for me, I'm enjoying the show.

This may explain why Sarah hunkered down at home rather than doing her media tour and interviews--she was probably getting her people organized and getting briefed by her "benefactors" as to what steps to take next. Apparently that involved a "poor persecuted me" statement.

I'm prepared to see the back and forth between the fundie/religious idiot faction and the educated Rockefeller borderline libertarian types.
