Has anyone else figured out that SENATOR Obama and SENATOR Biden

1. My guess is that they'll both resign before the lame duck session

They don't have to, but I suspect that they'll both resign their senate seats soon so that the process of naming their replacements can begin

10. Biden most likely won't resign until after January 3rd

after he's started the term he was just elected to, so there's no confusion about who is being appointed for what.

2. I have been thinking that they could get to work on energy as well.

I think energy has to be number one. Fossil fuels are getting more scarce and at a more rapid pace daily. Energy costs will bleed us until we get off the juice. Ideally, a public works project to build the electrical grid infrastructure will create jobs across the country. All these need to start ASAP, because none of it will happen overnight.

4. Obama in the past has talked about using alternative energy programs as a stimulus

Spending money to encourage use of new and alternative energy sources would employ people in sustainable industries, reduce greenhouse gases and reduce our reliance on foreign oil.

5. went by a wind turbine today and it was cranking....

in a good southerly breeze up here in NE OHIO, and it made me think....why in the hell aren't we putting these things up all over the place....let's get it going, we got the impeder in chief on the ropes now.

but both of my parents are from WIsconsin...dad from Milwaukee, mom from LaCrosse!! Love it up there, especially the Mississippi Valley!!

I want to see them in mall parking lots. I want to see them attached to houses. I want to see them atop skyscrapers and other buildings. And just think of the jobs. It's not a new idea, but the oil guys wanted to squeeze for the last drop. We are finally close enough to empty that a leader like President Obama can finally make it happer.

At this point in the economy, all anybody's gonna do with it, is pay bills and buy groceries. Same thing we did with the last checks.
