Everyone should have known what a POS LIEberman was when he would not relinquish his Senate seat while running for VP.
He was asked to do so by many Dems, so that they might run someone to take the seat and narrow the repuke advantage in the Senate. By staying in the seat, if he became VP, he would then have to resign, and the repuke Gov would then appt a repuke Senator.
