1. You can already tell she's not too happy about one of his economic advisors
Some guy from the Clinton era...I forgot his name.

former president of Harvard who resigned in controversy after suggesting that women were genetically unsuited for math & science.

27. Sucky but irrelevant to being an economic advisor. Of far more concern--
--is that he is a champion of deregulation. I don't give a rat's ass how smart someone is--if something is not worth doing at all, it sure the hell isn't worth doing brilliantly.

10. I used to like her but...
I've quickly grown tired of her schtick. We have enough "concern" being floated from the right wing media, never mind catching crap from one of the few who is supposedly on our side in the mainstream media. She is the most classy person in the MSM. Olbermann, O'Reilly, et al could learn a lot from her in treating people with respect. HOWEVER, the concern trolling is ridiculous.

12. so Obama has made no official decisions, yet Rachel is pissed?
what a sad sack she has become.

I liked her much better when she was just appearing on Countdown etc.

Now that she has alot of time to fill, she is filling it with pessimism.

Tanks fer nuttin', dearie!

15. I can't figure out why anyone would think this of her....
She asks excellent questions....I figure the President-elect, his philosophy and cabinet choices will weather her onslaught of 'debbie-downerisms' about what they are doing just fine.

I thought what she just did to Mooselini was pretty good.

I think she'll pull back a little as she finds her voice away from Olberman's unrepentant (AND much appreciated) cheerleading......

For a while they seemed like peas in a pod. I think she will be a fine voice.

18. Half the Election night she was real "concerned" about campaigning in the Red states
such as Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina. She was wondering if it was a waste to campaign in the Red states. (former Red states now)

So there. haha It's still an idiotic term...

ON EDIT: Just for the hell of it, I'll add why I think it's idiotic. It's one of those terms that once had a particular meaning (in the context of DU, to attack those perceived to be right-wing or otherwise not supportive of Democrats, who were raising "concerns" for the purpose of hurting Democratic/liberal candidates or causes) and is now just used to attack anyone of any political persuasion perceived to be "whining" about something a Democrat does. Is Rachel Maddow raising concerns because she's a closet right-winger trying to bring down the Democrats? No? Then she's not a freakin' "concern troll"...

29. Sourballs make more effective employees than the terminally perky
There are a number of studies showing that people inclined toward depression are far more likely to look at problems deeply and come up with more thorough and creative solutions. The teminally perky are much more superficial, and given to inflated self-evalutations. The self-evalutations of sourballs turn out to be pretty close to peer and supervisor evaluations. They don't put themselves down; they are simply accurate.

OK, so they're not as much fun to hang out with after work. Tough shit.
