Seeing the right's apoplectic response to the Nancy Reagan joke....

...it is going to be an ugly four years.

They will jump on ANY thing... no matter how small, in order to make ugly comments about Obama.

The downright racist comments in Ben Smith's blog tonight are frightening.

I'm not going to quote them here.

The racists haven't given up.

It is in their best interests to keep this nation as divided as possible. And they are going to work like hell to try to keep it that way.

The good news is.... there's 65 million of us, and only 57 million of them.

1. I say we respond to the bitching and moaning by immediately...
...naming airports, highways, schools after the president-elect. That will drive them insane.

7. My thoughts....
DCA becomes BHO

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport becomes Barak Hussein Obama National Airport

IAH becomes YWC

George Bush Intercontinental becomes Yes We Can Go Anywhere We Damn Want Airport

5. They see it as a sign of weakness.... because they've never seen a GOP President do it.

15. I would bet that she voted for Barack
in the privacy of her own absentee ballot. She barely choked out an endorsement of McCain and Ron stated that she'd expressed her admiration of Obama to him on numerous occasions.

8. 1992 was not that long ago.
Try to remember. Day one of the Clinton administration the bullshit was in full force. They didn't stop until Florida, 2000.

9. 65 million and growing
57 million and shrinking.

Let them continue the course of hate over competence. Ignorance over compassion. Palin in 2012. I hope they go that route.

12. This is the conundrum of being a "liberal."
Republicans will say and do anything to anyone. It might not even involve holding on to power but once they get it look out.
And the part that works for them - they NEVER EVER apologize. They don't need to because they feel they are always right and apologizing is just PC crap.
Liberal will mull a situation an almost always apologize because it is the right thing to do.
But to the "reich" it is a sign of weakness.
They get you coming and going. Bastards!

The fact that we still want to know what the losers are crying about makes me ill.

The need to get over it.

17. They are all about the faux outrage. Voters didn't want to hear it during the election cycle, so
they are screwing themselves over by prolonging it now.
