1. Dan Barreiro on KFAN today said Franken with 7-vote lead.

But yeah, I want him to win, too.

3. Yes, he does, so I donated the other day
With Lieberman such an issue, I figured that Al's getting a fair shot is really important.

Nice to learn that he's up by 7 votes today!

8. The state pays election officials, but Al Franken has to pay lawyers..
...and others to monitor the re-count.

10. The cost of the recount will be paid for by Minnesota because it is required
but both Franken and Coleman are lining up attorneys they will have to pay for.

5. Donate at the official website instead.
At least until the people running mnrecount.com say who they are.

11. As the saying goes...
"If I had his money, I'd throw my money away."

Something tells me Al can cover the cost of the recount.

15. Suspicious site, DON'T donate there. Go to www.alfranken.com to give money.
Go to Minnesota board of elections for latest official numbers:

Still at 221.

16. Not that suspicious
Here's the guy who owns it...

But I agree--- I think if you donate money it should go direct to Al... not an individual not associated with the campaign.
