My son, who voted in the Texas Democratic Primary with no problems, was denied the right to vote in the general election. His name is Benjamin and somehow the voter rolls had his name spelled Benjamen. This misspelling, when everything else matched between the driver's license and the voter roll, was used by an election judge in Travis County, Texas to deny his right to vote. I just found out about this and am royally pissed off that he did not get to exercise his right as an American over an obvious typo between two different governmental lists.

2. he should have completed a provisional ballot then contacted the BOE |

I made several people complete provisionals on Election Day when the poll manager tried to deny them the right to vote.
I'm afraid that now may be too late to do much about it.
Each voter has a responsiblity to know their rights and be able to exercise them.
