Even the "Real" Part of Virginia Voted for Obama

Nancy Pfotenhauer was not only ridiculous; she was in the end wrong about the desires of "real" Virginia. If you take away Obama's margin of about 235,000 in Northern Virginia (including Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties plus associated small cities), he still won the rest of the state by 20,000 votes.

It appears that Virginia is in fact changing more than we've realized. The blue paint is dripping heavily down the map.
