or at least show the results of a test, if not having to 'pass' one, at least we know if they know their geography and civics....

scary that Palin, in Sept., if she played her cards right (and didn't speak) and they didn't go so negative on Obama and McCain didn't say the fundamentals line, that she'd be our future president if he passed in office, which he is pretty old, so wow... scary. she's soooooo ignorant, and what I guess you call a functional-illiterate. Doesn't it seem reasonable that in 2008, maybe candidates for National positions - such as President and Vice President should be tested to make sure they've got the right stuff? Especially if there's some doubt that they're smart enough, for example, Lame Duck Bush should have had to take that test!
