Poll question: Should Obama Campaign Against McCain In The Georgia Senate Run-off?
John McCain is going to campaign for the republican in Georgia senate run-off against the democrat. Should Obama flex his muscles and campaign also?

If he wins, it will make him look all powerful.

If he loses, it will take him down a peg.

What should he do?

1. No. Chambliss is almost sure to win the runoff, and even an Obama
appearance would not be enough to get a big enough AA turnout to counteract the institutional Republican slant this state has. I'm coming out to vote and will help out with the ground campaign, time permitting, but looking at the stats from Election Day, I just don't see Martin pulling this one out.

2. Send Joe the Biden!
He's a great campaigner, and if Martin loses, it does not tarnish Obama's reputation directly.

4. No. The Dems aren't likely to win that; it'll make Obama look weak if they lose.
Besides, GA voted against Obama; I doubt he'd push the Dem ticket over the top.

5. Yes he should and so should Vice-President Biden
The Georgia Senate run-off hopefully will elect Jim Martin, and that can happen with an energized GOTV campaign, especially in Atlanta.

I think President Obama and Vice-President Biden should go and campaign for Jim Martin.
