28. I dont agree .... And here is why :
Those terms are associated with a derelict party ticket that is now viewed as one of the WORST campaigns ever run ....

You can be sure that Republicans want to squash those cultural references even more than you do ...

I say we shove it in their face ....

I say we whip them for years with those symbols of failure ...

It benefits us for these references to be visible ... It benefits THEM to hide them in the attic ...

98. I agree with you WRT babykiller
I was at a Biden rally (got lots of good pics from it, the link is in my blog) in PA last Thursday (before the election) and while we were waiting to get in, there were about a half a dozen protesters standing outside calling us babykillers.

I asked them if they were willing to personally adopt all the babies that would have been lost to abortion, or if they had a plan to have a state-sponsored orphanage to raise them until 18 and then send them off to fight in McCain's 100 year Iraq war. That shut them up.

I'm normally not blunt like that, but I spent a lot of this election season (i just discovered these forums) reading conservative forums trying to understand the other side. One of the conservative forums i read was for conservative Catholics, many who see abortion as their be all end all issue. My response was partially to them.

102. 'Bradley effect' - outdated, over inflated
typical corporate media trash. I figured out, when this phrase re-surfaced, a person born in 1982*, would be voting in their 3rd presidential election in '08. They probably had never heard of the 'Bradley effect' and care not a whit!

*"...The Bradley effect, less commonly called the Wilder effect,<1><2> is a theory proposed to explain observed discrepancies between voter opinion polls and election outcomes in some US government elections where a white candidate and a non-white candidate run against each other.<3><4><5> Instead of ascribing the results to flawed methodology on the part of the pollster, the theory proposes that some voters tend to tell pollsters that they are undecided or likely to vote for a black candidate, and yet, on election day, vote for his white opponent. It was named after Tom Bradley, an African-American who lost the 1982 California governor's race despite being ahead in voter polls going into the elections.<6>..."
