1. Nice, but I would think they would have left the expletive reference out?
I mean, I don't think that's exactly how our PE would address his people. "Chill Out" perhaps, but not "f**k".

3. I gotta agree with you on this!
Personally I don't offend easily, but there are those around me who might! I feel we want to maintain a positive vibe and not go around alarming folks who do get offended!
I would love to get one of those coffee cups, but....

5. Precisely. I just don't think Obama's image should be associated with
that particular phraseology. Like you, I'm not easily offended, but I don't think this is going to sell very well.

8. That image got me and many other DU'ers through some rough days in September ....

.... I might agree with you that it's not something that the mass public would appreciate.

But it's a cherished icon.

7. It just doesn't work without the "F" in it......
... and as I just said, I'm trying to cut back myself but "Chill the F out" is a metaphor all on it's own. It's telling everyone else to be calm while YOU are yelling. Irony.

It's a naughty word ...... but it works.

10. That worked for us on Dem blogs and internet sites during the primaries.
However, I just don't think that parents should have to explain what the "F" means. Obama showed us all what it is to run with dignity, class and grace, under the worst of circumstances, and to reduce that to a phrase that Obama never uttered, could be confusing to those who didn't vote for him.

2. The picture doesn't fit the caption in my opinion.
The graphic that I saw all over the place had a much more appropriate image of Obama.

4. If it were more faithful to the original it would have worked better.

6. Ha haaaaa!!!! I would make it into a bumper sticker....
.... but I'm trying to cut back on the F-bombs (I dont want to use them all up so my new hero/democrush will have plenty to spare.)

9. Bartcop actually sells shirts with the actual picture from the convention
on it. I am still tempted to buy one. Long sleeve for winter. :) It was my desktop for the majority of the last few months.
