Where can I get a "Obama won. Get over it" bumper sticker? |
|
Not the sticky kind, plz.
Or is there another wording that isn't so confrontational? I remember there was a Clinton one with that message which I loved...

4. Well, I'd like to think this wouldn't be the case in Connecticut. |
|
And certainly not in New Haven.

6. If New Haven is so Democratically pure |
|
then there's no need for such a bumper sticker in the first place. Having voted 100% for Barack Obama, everyone who beheld that bumper sticker would scratch their heads and say, "what is this 'get over it' of which you speak?"

7. Yep, we're the "People's Republic of New Haven" all right. |
|
But of course you have a real good point. I think it's why I saw practically NO Obama yard signs. It was a given.
Now I REALLY have to scrub off my "Ned Lamont for Senate" bumper sticker!!!

3. It also suggests that there is some sort of controversy over his win |
|
It was a blowout. No need to rub it in.

in my hood, they disappeared 11/5 - it's as if they didn't exist. I think they are over it already.

No sense in making them even more fearful. We're going to need as many people as we can to pull together to fix this country.
I remember the insulting "Sore/Loserman" stickers that the wingnuts printed up in the aftermath of the 2000 election, we need to be better people than that.

11. I Agree - Don't Antagonize Them |
|
we won, they lost - for good reason.
The GOP base exposed themselves to be divisive, hateful and ignorant, especially at the Palin rallies.
Those who were embarrassed by that hideous behavior voted for Obama.

18. They're all leaning or trampled here. |
|
The lazy ass local GOP never removes their signs from public property, so the first windy night after the election and they're all crooked or stomped on by wild animals. And so they shall remain all throughout the holiday season.

15. Why shy away from confrontation? |
|
The freepers have been in our faces for the past decade and a half with "Bush won, get over it!" and "Liberals are traitors/mentally-ill/idiots!" the whole damn time.
I don't know about you, but I want to rub salt in their wounds!
