Q: What's the opposite of a scapegoat? A: Sarah Palin.
Hilarious, looking at Republican logic. They're blaming a lot of people for their catastrophe--not just John McCain and his handlers, but also GOP leadership in both houses, as well as "moderates" (!) like Bill O'Reilly and George Will. They HATE Fox News now, as crazy as it sounds, for that recent blistering salvo of all of Palin's dirty little secrets on the campaign trail.

But the only person they're making sure not to blame is Palin herself. McCain lost the election in spite of her, not because of her, according to them, and the cretins over at Townhall are determined to prop her up as a new party heavyweight for absolutely no reason whatsoever. To which I say "HA!" and "HA!" again. Nearly everyone here has probably met a Republican who switched parties because of Palin's grotesque incompetence; hell, when I was canvassing for the DNC, I must have met one every day. And yet, the GOP can't figure this out--91% may want Sarah to run in 2012, but then, they've lost quite a few members in the last 4 years.

Go ahead and embrace her as your Hillary Clinton, fools--we'll be crying all the way to a second term.

1. I had the same experience--life long Republicans voting Dem
just because they couldn't stomach Palin. I really hope they continue to hold her in high esteem--because they will lose those voters permanently.

2. I think McCain would have lost anyway
But she certainly didn't help.

3. I hope they further push the GOP right, right, right. Right into oblivion
so that all that's left are skinheads, Jim Jones' types, and militia nutjobs.
