Gore writes:
The world authority on the climate crisis, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, after 20 years of detailed study and four unanimous reports, now says that the evidence is “unequivocal.” To those who are still tempted to dismiss the increasingly urgent alarms from scientists around the world, ignore the melting of the north polar ice cap and all of the other apocalyptic warnings from the planet itself, and who roll their eyes at the very mention of this existential threat to the future of the human species, please wake up. Our children and grandchildren need you to hear and recognize the truth of our situation, before it is too late.

Please print and share this with someone you may know who voted for McCain, but really does believe in the climate crisis. There are many moderate republicans who fall into this category and would benefit from understanding that change MUST come and it wouldn't have, if McCain won. It will connect their understanding (even if just a little); our efforts to focus on the environment and know that we have the right president, at the right time, in order for this to occur.

Actually, the only die-hard Republican I know who believes in environmentalism voted for Obama. My jaw hit the floor when she told me that. Not only that, she voted for Obama PROUDLY because of his message of hope and change.
November 4th, 2008, won't just be remembered as the day the world changed: it's also the day that monkeys flew out of my butt and joined their flying pig brethren.

No, but I highly recommend a Google image search for "butt monkey."
I'd love to post the image of two monkeys schtupping (the chains add that element of S&M that is sadly so often missing in monkey porn), but I'm afraid it would violate DU's "no sex" policy.
