Kind of like the RW was when the stole the elections in 2000 and 2004.

Yeah, well. Fuck that. I'm going to be gloating myself into my grave.

If we want things to move forward, then we need to pull in everybody we can.

12. Not sure I want racists to join us, MannyGoldstein and for the past
five days, I've been inundated with them.

Takes my breath away, the depth of the hate because of someone's skin color.

3. The answer is "yes."
Are you interested in gratifying yourself or are you interested in this country getting on with what it needs to do?

What's more important to you?

4. I am going to be happy for the rest of my life.
This is the best that I felt in a long time. Compared the way I felt 4 years ago to today and the feeling is MARVELOUS. I felt a thousand emotions on Tuesday night, I can't pick ONE word to describe the JOY I felt seeing the Obama Family coming out on Election Night. All I could do was smile.

BUT I AM SO DAMN HAPPY! And yes I am going through election withdrawal. For the past 3 months I had been volunteering, phone banking and registering people to vote. This was the first weekend in a long time that I could just sit at home and do nothing. I don't like this feeling - its bittersweet. We did a good job but I am really going to miss this campaign season and all the people that I met. As a person who is agoraphobic, I had fun going up to people making sure they were registered to vote and calling total strangers.

6. Yes
We have more class than they do. If we forget that, we will be no better than they are. Are you like Coulter, Hannity or Blimpball? I hope not, I know I'm not. Remember, they accuse us of stoking a Class War, well let us show them that we have a level of Class that they cannot imagine.

9. Do you really want to model yourself after them?
Lord knows, I've allowed emotions and anger enter into my interactions in my life, but it is not something I am proud of or strive for.

13. I'm finding it very hard to take the high road with this.
And, trust me, I've taken the high road so often in my life, I got nosebleeds from the altitude.

I don't want to make nice with racists. I want them to wallow in their disgusting pathetic lives.

Is that wrong? Yup. I know that. But, can't help the way I feel about someone who expresses racial hatred.

18. I'm with ya..I generally blow it off and take the high road..but damn if
I can get past the shit they did in this campaign and for the last 8 years...people died and suffered needlessly, it was fucking criminal.

I also can't get over, McCain, Palin and Lieberman along with other rethugs that questioned Obama's patriotism, called him pretty much a terrorist and tried to paint him as some nefarious black boogey man or shady anti-Christ!

It's stuck in my throat...and I'll choke if I try to get it past the forgiveness line.

I'm speaking of not commiserating that the old fucker with the nitwit VP pick didn't win.

Fuck. That.

15. In the south, we have a really passive aggressive way of doing it.
Just look at them, smile really sweetly and say "bless your heart." Then walk off.

19. It might make us look good for taking the high ground but that is not
Going to be how the right see's it. Basically what they right really wants is their way, they lost because of their screw up's, yet we are supposed to keep those policies in place so they feel safe. Watch how they will react to everything Obama does. Here in Michigan they are having fits because Obama asked Granholm to be on his transitition team. Seem's Granholm to them is the reason the big 3 are leaving the state, never mind the fact that since 1970 the big 3 were in trouble because they refused to make auto's that were more economic and smaller.

Never mind that Granholm is only a 2 term governer, nope its because Granholm didn't kick the big 3's ass and force them to make better autos. Never mind the fact that shrub declared in 2000 we have more gasoline then we can use and if OPEC tries its funny business I'll go over there and tell them to open the spigots. Never mind that it was them that demanded their big SUV's and Hummers, the government, well gov Granholm was supposed to stop them from wanting those gas hogs.

Screw the right, we won we get to make the rules, they don't like it they can move to another country where the government decides for them.

To lurking freepers thinking about moving, might I suggest a nice friendly country that will be perfet for them, China, were you will always have big brother looking out for you and your not allowed to think for yourselves. Yes you could be one of the billion Chinese, were you will work making toys for your former country. You won't have to worry about those pesky agencies like the EPA, or the DEQ or workers rights and as an added bonus no unions. Yes China home of the government that really has an impact on your life, a freepers dream of paradise.

23. I think, and I don't presume to speak for you, that a lot of us
still have some lingering anger over what the RW did to this country over the last 8 years.

As delighted as I am about Barack's win, the RW still has some control - Prop8 for example.

I want them completely powerless to mount any kind of a threat to us at all.
