Obama should greet Bush as he would a third world dictator... |
|
Offer him quiet respect as the leader of the country but make no committments or promises. This will be very interesting to see how Obama acts and reacts on the same stage with the shadow of a "dictator"? It may show how he would act with other leaders around the world?
He should listen very carefully and interpret it later after it has been assimilated. George W Bush cannot be trusted. In that respect, he is no different from a third world dictator. Obama will want to watch his back.

...warnings were sounded when Bush Pushed for quick approval of his $700 Billion gift to Executives, but no one would listen. Bush claimed the ATM's would stop working and lending would stop. Instead, 82% of the money is now going to executive bonuses.
Read this morning where Bush has been conducting secret raids into Syria and Pakistan for the last year.
Bush has more blood on his smarmy hands than Saddam Hussein.

3. That's exactly how Obama seemed to be speaking of Bush during his first press |
|
conference as President elect. The bits about one President and one government at a time seemed at lot like saying "Don't blame me for stuff that happens between now and my inauguration, folks." The only time he praised Bush, even a little, was to characterize the invitation from Dummya to visit the White House at his {Obama's] convenience as "gracious," which it was. A sitting President does not have to make himself available whenever the POTUS elect can squeeze him in. So, Obama was truthful about that. Otherwise, he only disassociated himself from Bush. Plus, he's had people looking into the Executive Orders he should rescind as soon as he takes office. Actions speak louder than words.
Yeah, I don't think we're going to be seeing Obama lifting up Dummya or Bushco any time soon.

He's been exposed to Junior at closer range than most of us. He knows what kind of creature Bush is. Of course I would prefer Obama calling him an asshole and suggesting that if he wanted to live to enjoy his pension that he'd behave until January. But that's just me.

He'll treat Bush like the President of the United States.

It would be very petty to disrespect Bush in this way. Obama doesn't need to feign contempt; he has the vote of the American people and the entire world's support. He doesn't have to prove anything by doing that.

10. I agree. Obama should say very little today and listen intently. |
|
When Buscho says it wants a smooth transition and will do everything it can to help Obama, the opposite is true. I just heard a little while ago that they're "worried" there might be a terror attack during the transition. :eyes:
