1. Hopefully he'll treat PE Obama with more respect than he has
in the past, but nothing would surprise me.

2. To be honest, I think it will be a very good meeting. Dubya can't
wait to get out of there. If the only legacy he has left is to be generous and cooperative to the new Obama admin I think Georgie will play nice. I also think, and I do mean this, that Georgie is a little in awe of Obama. Being raised the way George was, he was led to believe this could never happen, and it did. A Harvard grad and all that conjures up, plus being AA is awesome and I think George recognizes it. The Pres-Elect has a great sense of humor and reads people well. He will be sure to make this a good meeting and I think George will be a happy man at the end of the day.

When Obama thanks him for all of his cooperation/kindess (we know how needy GWB is for positive feedback)he will tell the world how great this new admin is going to be and everyone should get on board.

3. "Here's the room where you'll be Presidenting . . .
or deciding, that's what I call it, deciding. It's a round room, the Oval Office, I think it's round. I tell Barney 'go sit in the corner' - that's fun.
My snacks are in that drawer, want some pretzels?"

6. Obama should be tough with Bush
I remember Pelosi's first meeting with Bush. She seemed to have "changed her tune" after she left the meeting.

7. "You're in for a hell of a ride! It's hard work being the decider!"
Obama: Sigh. "Yes, Mr. President. I'm aware being "the decider" is hard work. Is your mommy or daddy home? Or Uncle Dick? I need to talk to them about some grown up stuff. Sasha and Malia would love some company in the Rose Garden. Why don't you run along and play?"

Bush: "You. Are. So. Awesome."

10. I agree with an above poster. Bush will play nice.
Partly because Obama is going to be very cordial to him, and partly because Bush is just so damn anxious to be done with presidentin'.
