I'll join you, in fact.

I know I've been a board-nanny in the past--and now I realize that there's a reason for enjoying the trivial (or even the not-so-trivial).

We deserve the best kind of party, full of a couple of drunken rages, a few tipsy gossips, and all the snark and mocking we can muster. (We are damn good at mocking and and snark and I love that we are, as long as the best of it is directed at the other side).

As long as the big guys at the door (the Admins) are good with it and the service staff (moderators) are okay with your behavior--enjoy. Just remember to TIP YOUR HOSTS GENEROUSLY... ;)

We've eight of the goddamndest years you can imagine (I know, I was here for the better part of them) and this is long overdue, IMHO.
