Paul McCartney Wants To Serenade Michele Obama

"I think sincerely he is the man for the job. I think it is a legendary occasion and I wish him the very best," McCartney told Britain's Sky News backstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards Thursday night.

"I hope to get the opportunity to sing ... to his wife. I have a little song ready for him," the former Beatle said. Asked what tune he has in mind, McCartney purred the start to one of the most famous songs of the '60s: "Michelle."

15. Good!
Let's move him straight to the back of the line for awhile. America needs some relief! ESPECIALLY from the "unofficial GOP theme song."

28. Much like I want to re-claim the classic Beach Boys song Barbara Ann
McWarMonger ruined it for me when he said, "Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran. fucker
But now that he is old, like yesterday's news, I will listen to Barbara Ann anew.
I know it's a John Lennon song, but I hope that after Paul serenades Michele, he sings "Imagine".
:applause:

4. I can't wait for the day when Obama goes to England and visits the Queen.
That should be enormously fun. I'm sure it will be a while, but sometime during his first four years, he's gotta go...

21. Evidence suggests she's somewhat the progressive, and tree hugger, but ALSO...
when Bush statyed at the Buck House he brought his own chef - "the Burrito Maker" he was called in the UK press.

His security detail trashed the rose garden her recently-deceased mother had planted.

She loathes him.

24. Hmm, doubt very much the Queen is an Obama fan.....
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 01:11 PM by Jackeens_for_Obama
....first up, she's still married to a racist moron, and secondly any member of the Royal family must give up their right to the throne if they marry a Catholic (that must really impress Joe Biden!). Last I checked this is 2008, that law dates back to 1701! She has never made any effort to support a change to this law, so discrimination is at the heart of British Royalty. So, no, I don't expect her to be too excited.

I would be a nervous wreck and think I'm in some kind of dream world.
Course, I'm from the sixties and always had a crush on the "Cute Beatle"!
I'd be a blubbering crying idiot.

25. Better I'd imagine...
Better I'd imagine, as Sir Paul would be singing before a very distinguished audience rather than lip-synching to the lowest common denominators that are the AZ and NY fans...

Maybe Paul will get to roll one up in the White House garden, like Willie did.
