I don't suppose the White House has a latch key or day care program for employees? |
|
I was reading on another thread about how the White House is an adult place and that young kids can sometimes find it lonely.
Well, with all the employees I find it hard to believe there are not any number of children who could be included in that community. I know Rahm has some kids now although I don't know what age they are.
I say you tear out that damn bowling alley (kidding) or some other area and turn it into an area for the children. OK, not the bowling alley, kids like to bowl.
Even if it is just a few hours a day after school it might be enough to help the parents as well as making the White House a more friendly place for our President's daughters.
Well. that and a puppy.

1. I thought they DID have on-site day-care for children of staff. The place is |
|
big enough (remember the East and West wings), and the need must surely exist.
