How did you spend your weekend? Sarah Palin spent it sorting thru clothes

Palin spends time sorting through clothes
WASILLA, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin spent part of the weekend going through her clothing to determine what belongs to the Republican Party after it spent $150,000-plus on a wardrobe for the vice presidential nominee, according to Palin's father.

Palin and John McCain's campaign faced a storm of criticism over the tens of thousands of dollars spent at such high-end stores as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus to dress the nominee. Republican National Committee lawyers are still trying to determine exactly what clothing was bought for Palin, what was returned and what has become of the rest.

Palin's father, Chuck Heath, said his daughter spent the day Saturday trying to figure out what belongs to the RNC.

"She was just frantically ... trying to sort stuff out," Heath said. "That's the problem, you know, the kids lose underwear, and everything has to be accounted for.

"Nothing goes right back to normal," he said.

Heath dismissed the clothes controversy as "ridiculous," and said his daughter told him the only clothing or accessories she had personally purchased in the last four months was a pair of shoes.

1. She said she had left the clothes in the belly of the plane
in an interview.
She lied! I'm shocked. I tell you, I'm shocked.

21. Now the spin is that the clothes in the belly of the plane
were to be taken to Sarah's house to be "sorted." That's certainly not the impression that was given at first. She infuriates me.

3. Ha! She doesn't even know what's what. All mixed up.
If I had known the clothes were not my property and had no intention of keeping them, I sure as hell would NOT have mixed them in with my own personal belongings.

Dumbass.

13. Including the silk boxer shorts?
Is todd sorting through his stuff? How 'bout the kids' clothes? How 'bout the jewelry (were those her pearls that she was wearing with that 25-hundred dollar Valentino jacket for her speech at the GOP CONvention? They looked pretty big, too)? What about the Louis Vuitton pieces? The luggage? Piper Palin's Louis Vuitton purse?

Actually, I don't much care if the RNC gets its money back. I rather like the idea of those pirates being ripped off.

Rest assured, us fashionistas know what she was wearing, and we'll be watching closely and taking careful note with every photo that's taken of her - FROM HERE ON.

25. Perhaps it was a more aggressive 24/7 campaign than we realized?
A "we'll get every vote we can whatever it takes" effort?

11. Why the hell is RNC buying underwear for her kids?
And how are they going to take back underwear? Well, I suppose it's par for the course. Republicans have been such lousy guardians of the wealth in this country. Spent us into the poorhouse every chance they got.

12. I thought the agreement was for 3 suits for Sarah? What does the kids underwear
have to do with anything? Why was clothing bought for the kids? And I still don't get why the clothing has to be "returned" Isn't it used? to whom would it be returned?

14. Oddly enough, sorting through clothes.
Seriously.

My own clothes, of course. It was time to put away the summer clothes and haul out the sweaters.

had a similar experience. Quite often, I find myself wondering, "Gosh, where did this extra $150,000 worth of clothes come from? Are they mine?"

16. I guess a Closet Organizer is SORTA like being a small town mayor, except
you don't get to keep the clothes!!!!!!!

And she can't wear any of that stuff ever again, cuz it's all been on the teevee! Oh poor, poor Sarah Palin! Maybe if she hadn't palled around with personal shoppers, she wouldn't be in such a nasty little jam. Poor little pitbull.

Hey, Sarah! How does it feel being on the receiving end of mean??????!

love,

But then I remembered that Palin's real life is stranger than an Onion article...

18. According to our local paper in Anchorage......
..Greta Van Susteren (Faux) spent the weekend with her..

The paper also showed a shot of her washing out a baby bottle:

What's with the polka-dot duck sitting by her sink?

22. Larissa, are you as disgusted by this whole spectacle
as I am? I can't believe the way she's basically daring the legislature to try and stop her. They'd better be growing some spine here during the recess.

had to buy for us!!! We can send them all to Sarah's family, because all she will have otherwise is "consignment store" clothing!!!!!!!!!

:sarcasm:
