Well a Repub Just Explained To Me Why We Are In This Mess... (You Get One Guess!)
CLINTON! I kid you not!!

"We know that Republicans will be blamed for this mess, but it was really Clinton that caused the economy to downturn...."

IF you did not get this one, you just don't know your Republicans!

1. Yeah an office FReep tried that one on me.
I don't cuss often and I didn't yell it but the comment of "Jesus H Christ, don't you ever get tired of the bullshit that Rush Limbaugh sells you?" with a snide smile on my face was totally in order. In my follow up question he declined to answer if he'd ever taken a college level economics course.

2. Of course Clinton's to blame for this mess ...
He made sure there was a surplus, so Bush could push his snake-oil, one-size fits all (actually, the top 1%) tax cuts and all the deregulation so that all these Republican donors would be able to cash out all their money and stock options and be able to crash the economy ...

3. I knew it before I clicked!
Clinton is so powerful, everything that happened since 1992 is his fault. Soon - VERY soon- we will transition to when it's all Obama's fault. Mark my words.

6. Assuming that's true, the GOPers still had 8 friggin years to fix it.
GWB had as many years in office as Clinton did. GWB had exactly the same presidential powers Clinton did. The Repukes had every opportunity to fix things, but they didn't.

If Repukes are powerless to ever undo anything that Clinton did, then why the hell should anyone ever elect another GOP president, ever?

Of course I don't believe their argument is accurate, but it is a sadly flawed argument, assuming the Repukes ever hope to run the country again.

9. So the MBA President who
took over with a Republican Congress to back him up basically did nothing to reverse the economic disaster that was the Clinton administration.

Nice Try.

12. I can foresee when the Repub Leaders are on their deathbeds they will be blaming Clinton....
I was amazed!

It just shows the total lack of rational thought that inhabits so many Republican heads!

I used to think it was just remote control mindless crowd response from Republicans when called to account for anything that went wrong on their watch.

But now I am convinced they really believe what they are saying when they blame Clinton for all our national ills caused by 8 years of BUSH.
