Palin spends time sorting through clothes
Associated Press - November 10, 2008 3:44 PM ET

WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - ...Palin's father .. says his daughter spent part of Saturday trying to figure out what belongs to the Republican National Committee ... He says his daughter told him the only clothing or accessories she had personally purchased in the last four months was a pair of shoes. The McCain-Palin campaign says about a third of the clothing was returned immediately because it was the wrong size, or for other reasons. A campaign official says other purchases were apparently made after that. http://www.ktuu.com/Global/story.asp?S=9324346

We must be up to at least fourteen minutes by now

2. There's nothing new under the sun, girl.
He bought me the fur five winters ago
And the gown the following fall
Then the necklace, the bag, the gloves, and the hat,
That was late '48 I recall
Then last night in his apartment
He tried to remove them all
And I said as I ran down the hall.

Take back your mink
Take back your pearls
What made you think
That I was one of those girls?
Take back the gown
The gloves and the hat
I may be down
But I'm not flat as all that.

I thought that each expensive gift you'd arranged
Was a token of your esteem
But when I think of what you want in exchange
It all seems a horrible dream
Eek.

So take back your mink.
To from whence it came
And tell them to alter and rise it
For some other dame

Take back your mink
Take back your pearls
What made you think
That I was one of those girls?
I'm screaming:
Take back the gown
The gloves and the hat
I may be down
But I'm not flat as all that.

I thought that each expensive gift you'd arranged
Was a token of your esteem
But when I think of what you want in exchange
It all seems a horrible dream
Eek!

Take back your mink
Those old worn out pelts
And go shorten the sleaves
For somebody else.

...it's unbelievable. She just doesn't know when to shut up (for her OWN good)!

From http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081110/ap_on_el_pr/palin (an "extended version" of the story in the OP):

In an interview with the Anchorage Daily News, Palin faulted the policies of the Bush administration for the defeat of the GOP ticket, and said, "it's amazing that we did as well as we did."

"I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a $10 trillion debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration? If we're talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party at the time had been representing," Palin said in a story published Sunday.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

She just threw HER OWN PARTY under the bus! Hey IDIOT--do you realize that a shitload of YOUR BASE thinks Bush is one of the greatest presidents EVER? What about "The surge worked"? What about making those tax cuts permanent? You're not supposed to say everything you think!

Palin's career in national politics is over--she killed it herself!

And I repeat: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
