and don't show the wear & tear...probably scotchguarded too

What Would Laura Wear?

She needs a lot more support - just like many of us do. She'd look a lot better.

6. It's actually in keeping with current styles...
Which are mimicking the 50's and 60's. It was nice of her not to be too flashy whilst taking the new "tenants" on their tour.

I wish her well. She never caused us any problems.

46. She was kind
And she never really did anything mean the whole time she lived in the White House. I bet it wasn't easy. She has a lot more class and brains than her idiot husband, and for that alone she gets my respect.

I think it's really bad Karma to diss her now in parting.

21. Good point. Gotta play nice, now or the rethugs won't *heart* us. Laura
looks dumpy, 50's or no 50's and dumpy was never in style.

I wonder if she gained weight - she looks different and that style (and color) dress doesn't help at all.

She, usually, looks quite attractive but today, not so much.

I'm with you. Lay off Laura Bush. She's always been polite and gracious. She was well brought up, even if she married an idiot.

Obviously her fashion sense falls short of some people's standards, but I don't see that as character defect.

This is almost as bad as picking on Ahhnold's aging physique upon his dissing of Obama's legs.

I know I'm not the only one around here who is taking Obama's lead with petty bullshit like this. The high road really is the road less traveled.

And yes, she does need to have a professional bra fitting. If one's bust is only inches away from one's waist, something is wrong.

is so naturally elegant, I kinda feel it's unfair to Laura. Laura Bush's never been blessed with that kinda of sense of style. (You should have seen what she wore when Dubya was governor.) In fact, all the Bush wives are kinda crap when it comes to fashion. Or even what flatters them. There's fashion and then there's style and neither has ever rubbed off on the Bush women.
