Good article about how Obama convinced those Hillary Democrats to vote for him. |
|
The town in question is Levittown, PA, where Hillary racked up a 3 to 1 win over Obama in the April primary. These voters took a while to get used to Obama, but they ultimately (along with other white blue collar towns) gave Obama the margin of victory to win PA http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/09/weekinreview/09sokolove.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all&oref=slogin

more willing to give Obama plenty of time as he tries to get us through the mess we're in.

Matter of time.
Myself and everyone in my extended family supported Hillary in the primaries. By the fall, I never heard her name mentioned from any of them.

7. That's my opinion, too. I don't know anyone who supported Hillary who had any |

doubt that they would vote for the Democratic nominee, regardless who it was, even if we were initially disappointed that our candidate didn't win. No one had to be won over by Obama. We all knew that the best thing for our country was to have a Democrat in the White House again.

5. It's the lousy economy. |

There was no way that a Republican would have won after 8 years of Bush and the economy blowing up right before the election.
