Seeing a lot of hate email since the election

The right wing is as nasty as ever--still draping themselves in flags and crosses around their necks. They are seething with venom....never forget their hate and what they are capable of....we don't have to stoop to their level, but we have to keep our guard up.

Sort of surprised since there were a couple of people who peppered my inbox with Obama is a _____________ (fill in the blank) ever since he started running.

I am almost hoping for something to respond to. So far. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Nada.

3. I'm getting more angry than I was before the election - oozing with bigotry

Other sites involving my hobby have people posting raw bigotry for all to see. I've never had to put people on these other sites on ignore until recently. What are they trying to accomplish? They lost because people were tired of the hate - are they going to self-destruct or become more aggressive?

omg...I visit one site, and there are those that have gotten me to the point that I wish I could rip their lips off, for spewing such garbage...I thought it might end AFTER the election, but it's getting worse every day...IF I go there any more, I can't stay long, it's gotten so stupid...wb

4. I've been watching lists

and some have gotten weirder than ever. I never comment because you can't argue with crazy. It's a useless exercise and it only winds up making you as crazy as they are. In other words, it's proverb about teaching a pig to whistle: it wastes your time and only annoys the pig.

5. They've been dripping with non-stop hate for at least 12 years.

Why should today be any different?

It's all they know. Angry at Clinton's bj. Angry at and after impeachment. Angry when their chimp got in. Six years of absolute power and they were still scared, threatened, angry and blameful of others for everything wrong in their lives. Two more years of Pelosi-scapegoated hate.

Poverty and hunger could be cured. Peace could overcome the earth. The icecaps return, the air and water purify. Cars could run on the laughter of children.

They'd still be angry.

Seriously, they could always choose the option of re-assessing their beliefs.
