So I was watching Hairball today and stepped out the room to smoke a cigarrette. Listened to this... |
|
guy talking about how Obama shouldn't see this election as a mandate and needs to govern from the center right/ center. He basicly stated that the states that won Obama this election were conservative states. Those are the people Obama has to pay back for this win if he expected to win this election.
It gets much better..
I walk back into the room and tell my wife, "Man!! That Republican sure is one deluded asshole!!!"
She Responds, "That wasn't the Republican, that was the Democrat."
I absolutely couldnt believe it. I was stunned!!!! Even more bizarrre was one the Republican started yammering that Barak doesn't have a mandate the only person to chew him on it was......wait for it......TWEETY!!!!!
I get the feeling that this fight with our government is far from over. This isn't the first time I heard this "Obama needs to goevern from the center right/ center" bullshit. I am hearing from Democrats as well.
This election was a rejection of thirty years of Conservative reign over American public life. People as a whole are fed up and want this shit to stop...YESTERDAY!!!!!

1. Labels are all many know. We need results, progress, with a mix of solutions-not ideology. |
|
Love to have pundits lead that type of discussion.

The Prop 8 vote in California ought to be enough to give people a clue that there's an enormous amount of education that needs doing.

He didn't want to be the head of the DNC with a Dem President. How many times does it have to be posted before people stop using it as a phony wedge.

10. That was Terry McCauliff (sp?) |
|
He of course is the former DNC Chairman, and a Hillary Clinton supporter. What else did you expect him to say? Now he wants to run for Gov. of Virginia. Wasn't it he who said that Northern VA wasn't the real Va.???(during primaries) when Obama beat Hillary there??

13. I have to correct you here. It wasn't McAuliffe, it was Steve McMahon |
|
And he was terrible. I simply couldn't tell the difference between what he was saying and what the Republican strategist was saying-- it was pitiful.

I stand corrected. Yea, he made me want to :puke: too. "Tweety" earned his wages yesterday. Wish I could say the same thing about the obsessive little piss ant every day !!

Can't say the same for the DLC tool who was spewing the nonsense. It's time to get those enablers away from the media and have some actual DEMOCRATS speaking for this party.
