If Joe Lieberman escapes any sort of punishment.... |
|
The Democrats can forget about me giving them ANY money as long as he is in office. The talk of him escaping any sort of punishment is bullshit.
Not only is the old saying of it's better to have someone inside of a tent pissing out, than have the person outside the tent pissing in, off in this basis, but Lieberman is not only in the tent pissing in the tent, but standing in a boat while pissing on every other Democrat.
This is ridiculous.

1. Ignore Joe, eventually he will become irrelevant and then go away. |

I think this is just feeding into his ego. I wouldn't be in a hurry to do anything, just ignore him and he will become irrelevant on his own.

3. Joe is irrelevant why give him hero status by making him an issue? |
|
Let CT decide about Joe and I suspect Joe is better for the dems than anyone else CT is going to elect.

4. Then I'd prepare to withhold money. |

Obama has suggested Lieberman should stay in the Democratic caucus.
Lieberman has said he will not caucus with Democrats if he is stripped of his chairmanship.
Ergo...
All in all, I agree with some of the other posters here. I think the Dems should welcome him back with open arms, look like the bigger men, and sharpen their knives for 2012.

To Lieberman's Democratic challenger in Connecticut when he runs for re-election. The group that can really punish him is the people of Connecticut and I hope that is the case.
