Everyone knows he was a GOP congressman from the panhandle of Florida. Exactly what would one expect??????

The show still has great guests. They seem to treat them - regardless of their politics - politely. The interviews are interesting. They are timely.

MS-NBC has a fairly diverse group of shows covering a wide spectrum of politics - exactly what you would expect from the Fairness Doctrine.

Why is there this thought here on DU that Joe should be a microphone for the left? And then daily comments/omplaints of disapproval when that does not happen.

10. Joe Scarborough fuels hatred of all sorts.

Joe is fanning the flames again, this morning about social security and the elderly. Even here at DU, I have seen posts expressing anger at older Americans because their social security is financed by younger workers, and anger at an entire generation -- the elderly -- for supposedly getting this country into the mess it is in.

I'm waiting for the media to give some attention to the other side. Perhaps Joe could schedule a guest who would like to defend the elderly?
