Was it ever confirmed whether Sarah & Todd Palin had their own unplanned pregnancy?

According to sources her wedding date is August 29, 1988, according to numerous sources including CBS new and saying that she and Todd eloped to save their parents the expense of a large wedding. Track Palin was born on April 20, 1989
so, that comes to about 7 months and 21 days after they eloped.

Does anyone know whether this was ever confirmed???
