Did anybody get Obama free stuff for donating?

They offered me a car magnet on Oct. 21st. I never got it. They said "rush delivery", so that 4-6 weeks thing for a Salad Shooter doesn't apply here.

Now their offering another gimme, a Victory T-Shirt for donating to the DNC. Once bitten...

It's not that I need to be bribed to donate, but when a promise is made, then it should be kept. :shrug:

If the DNC needs help, I'll open my checkbook again, but why should I go through OFA?

Did anybody else not get their freebies OFA offered for donations?

13. I made two donations of $55., one for my sister & one for me, when

they were offering a t-shirt and car magnet. We received both items and were surprised with lawn signs. All goods came separately and before the promised 2-4 weeks.

unless you keep them for memorabilia. Both were "VOTE NOV. 4th" themed. That promotion was for donations dated around Oct. 25-27.

IIRC, it took awhile to receive them (I think everything was on backorder). The magnets arrived first though.

And I donate every month to the DNC. They sent me some very cool pictures of Obama and Biden. too.

Got a couple of shirts, and they sent me one too many yard signs so it all evens out. Took me until about August to figure out I could wait for the freebies rather than just sending in the $'s. No biggie either way, got what I wanted in the end.

43. Yeah, but it took from Aug/Sept until just before the election

Got the Obama-Biden shirt (ordered for donation in Aug) and the Vote for Change shirt (ordered ?? late Sept/early Oct??)finally. Have one outstanding - some t-shirt they offered for $5 donation or something close that, and that was a recent order.

I thought they were NEVER coming. I also had a bunch of straight donation store purchases (made every time McCain/Palin really pissed me off:) that I'd almost given up on, and bam, after months, they all came in a space of a few days. I got my hoodies, my tank tops and my fleece jacket.

When I was in the depths of frustration over this,I did send multiple emails until someone responded, but even that took weeks to receive. The response was nice, and told me that if my OFD tee-shirts didn't arrive in a few days, to email them with the info again for them to resend - they said that the OFD shirts were coming straight from the Obama campaign (not demostuff).

I am waiting on one last donation store order of some buttons and such, plus the last OFD from the email solicitation. You should just shoot off an email every three days, a nice one, until someone responds. Good Luck!

who obviously got my number because the information is public, concerning who donates to political candidates and how much they donate.

My wife and I already have several organizations we donate to, mostly wildlife and conservation ones, and it's getting pretty annoying having to get at least 5-10 new phone calls a day from various people soliciting money, and all because we donated to Obama's campaign. The same thing happened in 2004, but not nearly as bad.
