Happy Veterans' Day Tammy Duckworth
and all other veterans. I felt tears in my eyes when I saw the photos of Tammy Duckworth, walking with her artificial limbs, to lay the wreath today. My God, how do we honor the brave men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice?

At least, we can not subject them to more needless war. President Obama walked with Tammy Duckworth to lay the wreath this morning. I'm sure he was as affected as I was by being with her. And I'm sure he will do everything he can to make his Presidency a peaceful one.

2. Obama will honor our vets.
There will be parades when our Iraq vets come home. I'm sure of it.

3. I think she is just fantastic!
I could not believe the veterans groups supported her opponent, who WASN'T EVEN A VETERAN, instead of her (2006). If she had run this year, she might have had a better chance. I think she is such a hero. I hope the Obama Administration can make use of her talents and insights. We need more people of her quality in our gov't.

4. Wouldn't she be great heading up the VA?
She could really relate to the returning Iraq & Afghanistan war veterans. And she has already gotten the experience at the state level.

Wonder if Obama is thinking of her for the job?
