Bush: Obama scoped daughters' bedrooms
President said his successor will bring 'sense of family to the White House'

The Associated Press updated 8:27 p.m. CT, Tues., Nov. 11, 2008

WASHINGTON - After a confab about the state of the world, President-elect Obama wanted to scope out his young daughters' future bedrooms in the White House, President Bush said Tuesday, recounting the tour he gave his successor this week.

"One of things President-elect Obama was interested in — after we had our policy discussions — was his little girls. How would they like the White House?" Bush told CNN about Obama's visit to the Executive Mansion on Monday. "It was interesting to watch him go upstairs, and he wanted to see where his little girls were going to sleep."

Bush also said that before he met with the president-elect, he called former President Clinton to recall a similar meeting the two had after Bush was elected.

14. I think he's very human... just totally incompetent and a tool

I think this is the real Bush. A fairly goofy, sincere guy who wants to do the right thing. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and he's obviously been easy to manipulate by the neocons in his admin. This was a screw-up with somethign to prove to daddy and the world.

I think he genuinely likes the Obamas and those words about his family were sincere.

I found the parts about him wanting to just go to Texas and do nothing... funny.

8. He's spent. He wants out and it can't come
quick enough for him. I can't stand Bush.. I think he's a dipshit. But I also think he was one big ass puppet for many people and he knows it. The end can't come quick enough.. ironically for us and for him.

6. Will the pressstart using slang and trying to sound hip because the President-elect is Black?
"Scopes out, checks out", not very Presidential sounding.

What's next:

"President throws down with Putin"

"Obama gives a shout out to the American people....."

7. He sounds human because he's just relieved to get the fuck out
Now he can go back to Texas, get drunk and do whatever the hell he wants without having to actually, you know, work.

I'm telling you, I bet he's packing his bags right now counting down the days.

15. That, my friend, is James Franco's character, Saul from Pineapple Express.
Who gave a stunning Oscar worthy stoner performance.

Almost as good as Anna Faris' performance in Smiley Face. Almost! :)

11. Why the fuck is Bush running his mouth about Obama?
Can we get this clown out of the White House already. His mouth has been running a mile a minute about Obama ever since Monday.

12. I get the feeling that Bush is impressed by Obama.
I think he had personal dislike for McCain, and was secretly glad he lost. Bush was the willing puppet of the neocons for 8 years, and now he just wants it to be over.
I doubt he has enough in him to feel guilty for it, but he probably resents it.
