My Tin Foil Hat-ish Therory |
|
According to an NBC newscast that I watched several days ago, Bush's Oval Office transition meetings with Obama are the earliest to occur in US history. I wonder if Dubya isn't sucking up to Obama to try to reduce the chances that he (Dubya) will be prosecuted for war crimes, pissing on the Constitution, etc.
I'll admit that this theory is based on little more than my own far-fetched-ish speculation. But given Dubya's history of manipulating and trying to manipulate other people, I think it's possible.
What do you think?

4. Since I think the most likely path to smashing their failed philosophies and toxic policies |

is BushCo. pardoning themselves, I hope it goes down that way. We can bust this crap wide open if we take the people out of it. Fact finding doesn't create the same atmosphere of rancor as going for the throat but in this case they've overreached so far on so many things that we can take a hit in this battle and in the same stroke win the war.
If we play it right, we bypass the bared throat for a direct shot to the heart. Its past time to change the dynamics because the old ways aren't enough. Playing the same game proves to bring us the same results. Living with poison out of fear of lack of dissent is a simple and quivering way to look at the puzzle that is our Republic. You ignore the obvious that Our coalition is far to delicate to survive a vacuum. Busting out the current Republicans is purely an evolutionary step towards a more perfect Union. There will be rational conservatives again but they don't have a chance to even be heard under the cover of today's GOP.
This is our time.

he just wants to get rid of the disaster as fast as possible. He wants to be a semi colon between Clinton and Obama, not the nuke that he is.

7. I wonder if it has anything to do with the GOP's desire to ... |
|
... place the blame for all the crap that's happened during his terms (but have yet to be acknowledged by the GOP-controlled media) onto Obama.
I'm sure the GOP-controlled media will be more than happy to sit on the economic depression stories and all the real Iraq horror stories until after Obama takes the oath.
But, yeah, I like your theory, too!

8. I just thought of something else ... |
|
... what if you're right? What if Dumbya is trying to manipulate Obama?
Maybe this will help help tune your tinfoil hat's receptors: how many days passed between the time Obama got his first briefing and Dumbya's invitation to visit?
What did Obama learn during that meeting and was that knowledge what frightened The Soon-To-Be-War-Criminal?
How's that for a conspiracy, huh!?

11. Bush and Co. will not be prosecuted for war crimes. |
|
Just my guess.
And I will be anxious to see if the same voices here that constantly hijack threads on Bill Clinton will be as equally hard on Obama for it.
