Urgent Need For Volunteers for Franken Recount in MN

It was just announced on the news that the Coleman Campaign will placing 2 staff and 1 attorney at every county where there is a recount.

In response to this, the Franken campaign is forced to find more volunteers both in MN and those willing to travel. I received the following e-mail:

Dear Friend,
Our race is still too close to call. After 3 million Minnesotans cast their ballots, the margin sits at just 206 votes -- that's seven one-thousandths of one percent! With a margin that small, we're headed towards an automatic statewide recount. And that means we need your help.
The recount -- a hand count of every ballot -- begins next week in every county in Minnesota. And it could last as long as a month.
Here's how you can help:
1. BE A VOLUNTEER OBSERVER: These volunteers will be trained to observe the counting, identify ballots in question, and articulate the basis for the challenge. We need people who can attend a TRAINING THIS COMING WEEKEND, stand on their feet for hours at a time, and volunteer for multiple days or weeks throughout the recount process. 2. HOUSING: We need housing across the state for volunteers and staff who will be working on the recount.
