ANybody know what' happenin in Alaska?
Has anything come of the 80,000 ballots that were supposed to be counted by today? Or will that still be quite a while from now?

7. So they probably won't have a presser until the end of the day.
And if they are trying to rig it for Stevens maybe not even then. They'll need to figure out how many miss-voted they'll need to discard.

2. It's over 90K that they're counting....
The news update a few minutes ago said that they only expect to get half of them done today..

Also, depending on the outcome of the two day count.. they may have to wait until November 16th which is the deadline for mail-in overseas ballots.

11. Stevens' Lead Reduced
With about 25,000 ballots counted today (so far), Stevens' lead has been reduced from over 3,400 to under 1,000.

With the ballots now counted, the turnout is now over 50%. Alaska counts turnout as numbers of votes counted/registered voters. Ergo, the more votes that are counted, the higher the voter turnout goes.
