1. It doesn't matter what they say - it's what he does that matters and |
|
Obama doesn't strike me as someone who spends a lot of time worrying about what others say.

2. It's the last moan of the dead. |
|
The Republican Party is dead, and apparently they're going to emit a lot of groans, creaks and burps (bodily gases) before they're finally and thankfully buried.

4. Yeah, they defined him as a Socialist for the last month of the campaign. |
|
Don't look now, but it looks like a lot of folks liked that and switched their allegience to the "socialist" in the last month.
Heh.

They are poor losers and unwilling to admit this country wants to go in the opposite direction.

7. They probably think that Bush won in a landslide and Obama didn't. |
|
Even though Obama won by more votes and electoral votes than Bush.

9. If they mean "the center of this country is right-wing," I'll agree with them |
|
However...let's call the center of this country North Dakota (3ev), SD (3ev), Nebraska (5ev), Kansas (6ev), Oklahoma (7ev) and Texas (34ev). Take away the one EV Obama got in Nebraska, and that leaves 57 electoral votes.
California, all by itself, is 55 electoral votes. I'm not counting the 5ev just to the right of it, the 14 that are two states over, or that big swath of blue that nestles itself around Kentucky and West Virginia..or, for that matter, the decidedly small number of red counties on a Purple America map.
What Obama should not forget is that he wasn't sent up there to be a Republican.
