All these websites selling inauguration tickets - are ANY of them legitimate?

A couple of links were posted here the other day, can't find them now, and then, of course, there are all the sales on eBay - but apart from the 'morality' of it all, what actual tickets are they selling?? I mean, is it a place on a pavement along the route they're flogging? :shrug:

4. No. Not one of them. They are scammers to a man.

They will take your money, and you will get absolutely nothing of value. You might get a forged "ticket" that nobody will accept; they hope that'll keep you from trying to contact them until the day of his inauguration.

Supposedly Dianne Feinstein is sponsoring a bill making it illegal to sell them, so some of it is definitely going on.

8. They are distributed state level via your congressman. THEY don't get the tix in their hands until

the week before the event.

9. Probably not. Maybe one or two - but 99.9% aren't b/c none have been given out yet.

And there's proposed legislation to make the sale of Inauguration tix illegal.
