Palin is the gift that keeps on giving |
|
to Dems.
This prideful, camera-loving ignoramus won't let herself be forgotten; rehashing her GOP stump speech today at the GOP conference is like the Prom Queen still shuffling about on the dance floor though the lights have gone out and everyone's left. Utterly delusional. For the next few years, the MSM pundit class will discuss ad nauseum how the future of the GOP is tied to the grand ambition of this dim-wattage, this clueless nincompoop, along with the nasty machinations of her GOP enemies, like Mittens Romney or perhaps Jeb B*sh, working hard behind the scenes to take her down... the MSM will eat it up. Now folks, that's what I call entertainment!

I know the comedians are hoping she will stick around--they bluntly say they need the material |

absolutely bang on. I'm hoping she will run for President in 2012. It would be too wonderful!

2. Why does America produce |
|
these absolutely fabulous characters? I'm 70 and I still fondly recall all the incredibly too-good-to-be-true characters Watergate produced. And they just keep on rolling off the comical and tragical production line. Not that I want it to happen in boring Canada. Save the entertainment and fireworks for next door. Life in a quiet backwater is my preference.

I'll get back to ya on that, thanks!
(Cripes, I am having WAY too much fun with Palinese. I'm supposed to be learning German since I'm moving there next year but I. Can't. Stop. It!)

one of my all-time favourite American characters. And remember the Watergate thug who spoke of "cookies" and a phone booth when he wanted to contribute money to the cover-up? Too funny!Hilarious!
I wish they'd play the Watergate hearing over again for us old-timers.That wonderfully elegant courtly Sam Ervin? Wonderful characters all.

10. Sam Ervin's niece, Dottie Ervin, is a good friend of mine. |
|
She and I were co-workers back during the Watergate hearings. Dottie looks exactly like Sam (except in pearls) - and she has that same wry sense of humor that he always displayed.
