Bush to Evade Prison Through "Residual Constitutional Powers"
WTF?!

This from TPM:

Going back to the 1950s, ex-presidents have claimed "residual constitutional powers" to block investigations, and some believe George Bush may well assert executive privilege on issues like torture and the US attorney scandal after he leaves office.

Does this mean that the slime gets away with everything???!!!!!

This is more than puzzling!!!

10. Since we're not signatory and it's not binding on non-signatories, no.
And even if Obama signs up to it, treaties are not retroactive.

3. that's bullsh!t. there was always someone there to enable them
with a pardon or "moving on in the interests of the public". Clinton managed to have to fight a civil law suit and get disbarred, so I believe there is precedent to throw the book at GW Bush.

There is a reason he's now making nice, showing his doe eyes and trying to get people's sympathy.
