Bush speaks on economy, market jumps 552 points!!!
Today President Bush, speaking at the Manhattan Institute in New York, warned world leaders against meddling too much in markets as they seek to reverse the financial and economic turmoil now engulfing the world.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average responded by soaring over 550 points in one of the largest percentage one day gains in its history.

I think the world has just been waiting for the President to step up and take action.

2. What stocks were spiked at the last moment
it couldn't have been all of them. That was a major buy
in the mega billions which could only have been done
with some major mega players.

4. "I think the world has just been waiting for the President to step up and take action. "
Did you forget the sarcasm icon? Because the market rose today mostly because of bargain hunters looking for value stocks.

5. I don't believe....
the Dow was responding to his speech as I was watching when he was talking and the market tanked to its lows for the day. It was late this afternoon when the rally started well after his remarks!

6. So it goes up when we meddle, then it goes up when we say we need to stop meddling.
I declare that we should rebuild our economy by having Bush flip flop between meddling and not meddling on a daily basis.

7. The market soared 550 points as it remembered that only...
