What that 40+ year old woman did to that barely out of college girl was DEPLORABLE! Being a part of a group who said hey, we are hang in there for the President because the Republicans are hateful and are going after his weaknesses for women. I was a part of that crowd because I think sexual issues should be private and worked out with your spouse/psychiatrist/psychologist/pastor, but I always felt horrible as a woman about it. Sexual harrassment being what it is...


For my people who didn't understand how awful that was (the comment at the time was something like big deal he got a chicken head or some other degrading name to give him a bj), I asked them if Monica was black and Clinton went after her the way he did...who among us would not have stood in front of the camera, the WH, or any public square and demanded a first class ass whippin'. Forget impeachment. Forget political strife.

Factor in an older black woman on the job who went out of her way to encourage the woman with a COLLEGE DEGREE to demean herself, her family, and everyone else in the community by accepting the attention and saving that dress as a trophy of the exchange. No quarter would be given or spared for that older black woman. Neither Hillary, Chelsea or anyone else could have kept that sister safe for the ages. Clinton can and could be redeemed because his passions were involved and his reason subdued. Tripp showed a truly flawed character because she sat down and thought this through over time.


There are some things you just don't do. Linda Tripp, no matter how gracious what she said about Obama was, deserves scorn for being mean-spirited, calculating, and nasty. She demonstrated who she was by giving advice to Monica that has made her name a punchline for the ages when Monica was too young to understand how life kicks one's ass. Monica thought her giving sexual favors was going to lead to an actual relationship leading to marriage.
