WTF is with Pawlenty?
Tweety was being very complimentary and kind to him and Pawlenty STARTED the interview by telling Tweety sarcastically that Tweety was in a great mood since the election and near the end, that Tweety was on too much caffeine and finally, he said to Tweety, "You're unbelivable." after Tweety really kissed his ass terribly, with the old "when you're in DC, come onto the show" and "you're one of the rising stars of the Party".

Pawlenty's in a bad bad mood...

1. He is angry at the diva stealing all the attention.
First, she got the pick and now, she won't go away. Poor Tim.

3. If Pawlenty wants to stay a star...
...then he shouldn't run for re-election in 2010.

More impressive to go out on top after two terms then to lose.

4. Hey, I saw that. I don't know WTF Pawlenty was coming from. Was he scared of Sarah or was he just
pissed off and smiling through it?

5. yes, I found Chris a bit 'much', but WOW what a smarmy ARSE Pawlenty is - painful to watch
please Pawlenty - RUN for president - your smarmy self-serving non-answering ass will lose worse than John and Sarah did! Seriously, he is a weak speaking and cranky whiner...

poor pawlenty - didn't get picked for VP and he's bitter and now he hates being called out for his comments - LOOOOOO-ZER!

6. Sounds like Pawlenty is a petulant smart-ass
I saw some other story in the last day where he made some comment to Alan Colmes, on H&C, that he would thank Colmes' wife for sticking with him (Colmes). Very weird jab at Colmes, given it was completely unprovoked and Colmes is such a lapdog.

I'm wondering if Pawlenty is just trying to appear aggressive against "liberal" media figures in order to gain points with the Right Wing.

7. Maybe he's still mad
At Chris for saying on the night of Obama's convention speech that Tim was really boring and bland, like polenta. Ha! Now, he's the new leader of the party in Tweety's eyes...though WTF, he is not a moderate as far as I understand. Maybe he hides it well...he did seem to take offense to that though, heh "No, I'm a MAINSTREAM CONSERVATIVE!"

I'll never forget how he went on MTP the Sunday after Palin was announced and tried to say that managing a home budget is an economic qualification.

8. Timmy the Tool might have been McCain's VP choice
and my guess is that he's got a burr under his saddle about Miss Mooseburger, figuring the ticket might have had a chance if he had been the running mate. And while I don't think McCain would have won in any event, Timmy can make a somewhat plausible argument that he wouldn't have been an actual embarrassment.

And I agree. I don't like Timmy at all -- He is truly a tool; he's a fanatical anti-tax wingnut whose main focus has been cutting taxes all the time, no matter what the outcome, which for Minnesota has meant crappy roads, deteriorating schools and collapsing bridges. No matter. Wingnuttery requires that YOU get to keep all YOUR money and to hell with everybody else.

That said, Timmy is fairly presentable looking and can stitch together coherent English sentences. He comes across as friendly and personable, if a bit dull. He probably knows that Africa isn't a country and has never claimed foreign policy expertise on the basis of Minnesota's shared border with Canada. His latent fundieness is fairly subdued and his campaign events do not especially resemble Klan rallies. In other words, he's a normal white guy Republican who would not have excited the base but would also not have been the butt of jokes on SNL and all over the Internet.

I have no doubt that after living in McCain's pants for well over a year and moving heaven and earth to get the RNC in Minnesota, he's still totally steamed at having been passed over for Caribou Barbie.

Poor Timmy.

13. It's not the first time he's been thrown under the bus. The RNC made him step aside for Norm
in the Senate race. He was supposed to be the RNC pick for McCain.

It's bad enough that they keep making promises to Tim and breaking them. The ultimate insult is passing him up for Palin.

11. How many are needed to make a circle? I think they'll settle for a letter "L"
Most of their wagons are in ditches along the campaign trail.

12. I hardly think Pawlenty is in a bad mood or pissed at being passed over.
He surely understands that McCain was going to be a loser no matter what. And as for Palin, name me one, just one, VP candidate on a losing ticket that has ever made a political comeback. Edwards? Lieberman? Kemp? Dole? Quayle? Bentsen? Mondale? Ferraro? Shriver? Muskie/Lemay? Miller? and on and on. It isn't exactly a springboard to the White House

History is on Pawlentys side, he must be well aware that the loser will be cast onto the dust heap of history, and when the media fascination is over Sarah will join them.
