4. MSNBC reported two advisers to Pres-Elect Obama told MSNBC that Sen. Clinton is under consideration
Edited on Thu Nov-13-08 07:42 PM by Pirate Smile
for Secretary of State. Sen Clinton's office said any decisions to be made are up to the Prez elect and his team.

I rewound my DVR to get it exact.

5. I just heard that on MSNBC...she is being "considered".
Interesting...I wonder if they are putting out feelers to see what kind of feedback they get on the idea.

8. What would be so bad about Hillary for Sec. of State?
I didn't vote for her in the Primaries, but I DO think it would be a job she could excel at.

12. I want Senator Clinton to STAY in the Senate, we need her in the Senate
I wouldn't mind President Bill Clinton as SoS though.

Good choices for SoS would be either President Bill Clinton OR former Massachucetts Governor William Weld....President Clinton wanted to appoint Weld Ambassador to Japan, but the Right-Wing loons in the Repubican Senate held the thing up and Weld never got appointed.

Hillary needs to stay in the Senate and Governor Bill Richardson is better for us keeping New Mexico solidly blue.

16. She's more powerful for our side in the Senate than as SoS
She also can keep that NY Senate seat as long as she likes, the people in her state for majority part love her.

15. how about President of the United States,
that one has a better ring. It could happen in 2016, she'll only be 69, younger than McCain is now, and as old as Reagan was when he was elected.
