Who is leaking all this inside info? (e.g. Hillary SoS consideration) |
|
Is this a deliberate thing or is Rahm already "going rogue"?

1. What's interesting is, as Rachel just said, lately his camp has been leaking |
|
like a sieve. It sure wasn't like that during the campaign. I wonder, too -- if it's a deliberate leak, or a REAL leak.

3. Well, there weren't really any leaks during the campaign |
|
So logically, it would be someone who came aboard after the election. And I guess that narrows down the suspect list considerably.

4. Yeah - it's troubling to me |

I'm wondering if there's already some mole within his circle. I hope they find the leak and plug it up soon.

Someone in the "Clinton" camp! Kind of sounds like what was happening with the VP slot.

6. You'd have to know Andrea's connections and her sources. Its reporters jobs to |
|
try and find this stuff out.. Would they do this to Republicans if they knew that it was to be hush-hush? I don't know.. I cannot remember the Bush transition other than the whole.. they trashed the White House lie.

7. I think it's being floated by wishful thinkers |
|
Andrea Mitchell reported a ton of rumors during the primary campaign that turned out to be total bunk.

8. they leaked strategically for the VP choices |
|
Though, has anyone reported on this besides Andrea Mitchell, or is it all sourced back to her reporting? I remember her saying some sketchy things in the past, don't know if I always trust her.

11. I think this is one of those times |
|
when the person who wants the job leaks the info in order to get the job. Remember the VP speculation?
Actually, I think she'd be great. If I were Obama, I'd certainly consider it.

I see more reason to leak the VP picks as a matter of strategy, so the public/media can vet them a little and get reaction ...what needs to be vetted about Kerry/Clinton/or Richardson? This confuses me. Ok, get the point about public reaction, but it's still weird to me.
Anywho, Did anyone else read that Larry might be out bc of reaction from womens groups, on the topic of treasury?

14. This is a natural consequence of talking to possible appointees. |
|
The campaign was a very organized, from the top down, organization. They were in a position to contorl inside info. Now, we're post election, and they're talking to many people about many positions. The campaign insiders can only control who they talk to. They cannot control the bits of info that leak out because a scheduler tells a friend, who tells their mother, who sends NBC an email about it.
