.... I had seen that site months ago and had been reading it as "Scott" all this time.

My dad used to own and operate a hog farrowing farm and anyone visiting had to wear similar booties to protect from contamination to/from outside. If you were an Ag Rep, you had to suit up completely because they visit other farms and the risk of cross contamination is that much higher.
