Kristol waxes pro-Obama (and pro-Hillary) on "Fox and Friends".

Desperate to avoid tuning to Morning Joke or WJ, I boldly took a dip into the "Fox and Friends" waters for a few moments this AM. I was just in time to catch a short interview with William Kristol, conducted by the amazingly lightweight Steve Doocy. Did anyone else catch this? Shock! Kristol was great.

He began by praising the head start Obama is getting on the transition and strongly overrode a blast of Doocy condescension to state that appointing Hillary as SOS would be a very smart move. He said she would be much better at State than the also-floated John Kerry. Asked if Kerry would be "bitter" over a Hillary appointment, Kristol said that "there is no ego with these politicians" and that "they want what is best for the country" and therefore that Kerry would gracefully cede the SOS position to Hillary were she chosen.

I agreed with everything Kristol said; he was expansive and broad-minded, maybe even "fair and balanced". (Of course we have also frequently observed that he's always wrong!)

What gives?

It's hilarious to see people who have been arguing that neither Kerry or Richardson are qualified to be SoS, now claim Hillary is supremely qualified.
