5. Come on -- it's an age old tradition
Just like the baseball fans who start arguing about trades and free agents the minute the World Series ends. It's just a sport -- let people have their fun. For crying out loud. It's politics. People have been arguing and fussing about this for centuries. It's the only fun some of us have.

We're not going to just sit with our hands folded in our laps and staring at the floor, nodding numbly as announcements are made. We're going to have opinions, get mad, worry, fret, complain, advise, whatever.

It's human nature.

16. The way some of them talk, you'd think Bill Clinton
was sticking his evil magical penis in Barack Obama's ear and forcing him to turn his administration into Clinton term 3.

There are folks convinced that Obama hates Howard Dean and that because Dean is stepping down as head of the DNC, suddenly the 50-state strategy is dead and will never be used again because James Carville will take over and make it so that we only concentrate on winning one state every election cycle and oh my God they just shit their pants in abject terror!

10. A sensible thought for crazy times.
To be fair though...we won the election. So people have to freak about SOMETHING.

I posted that on a couple of threads today. People get so excited without any decision even being formally announced.
